Blooming marvellous – garden glories

A rose by any other name

Is your garden more gloom than bloom?  Or do you have an abundance of flowering glories rather than planting disaster stories?

Roses are pink ...

Wild or cultivated?

The only time I’m ‘green fingered’ is when I’ve been painting, but a trip round the garden to see (the little) damage inflicted by our current building works, revealed some items of beauty hidden in quiet corners which I had not noticed nor appreciated previously this year.  With a tiny Nikon I took pictures of nature’s gorgeous colour schemes.

What beauties are lurking in corners of your garden?
