Callaways’ Callaweighs progress Week 1-2

The Callaweighs team are valiantly striving to lose pounds for £££s for the RNLI.

We’ve brought in LGM Nutrition’s Lucy McCrickard to help us understand how nutrition helps us cope with our daily lives, whether at work or play.  Read how our first week has worked out:

GROUP PROGRESS – WEEK 1-2

We’ve made a great start – even though Lucy told us Week 1 is always hard whilst we’re getting used to new eating habits.

Here come those important numbers…

Combined weight loss across Callaweighs:              

1lb 1 oz – although in real terms 3lbs 13 oz since we actually managed to put on 2lbs 12oz of muscle mass between us. Muscle increase is fantastic since muscle helps burn fat!

Fat  loss

We’ve lost 3.2% of fat between us already (totalling 8lbs 5oz of pure fat mass, which Lucy says is brilliant).

Combined metabolic age – 9 years younger between us already!

I’ve never seen our staff fridge and kitchen hold such healthy foodstuffs, so keep up the good work Callaweighs – and keep yourselves hydrated…
